Open Question: Curvier, or Pin Thin Models?
Paris Fashion week has taken a chance in the fashion industry by using curvier models (i.e. Victoria Secret Models) for their clothing lines. Personally, I think this is a change for the better, but I was wondering what everyone else thought. Do you prefer the curvier models, or the pin thin models? Do you think, over time, this will impact the self-esteem level of younger girls? Is this the beginning of something good? Ruby - Natural thin is understandable. I used the term "Pin-thin", because Thin is relative. Pin-thin is more defining and reflective of unhealthy.

Open Question: What is your opinion of this article in the New England Journal of Medicine regarding Obamacare survey?
http://www.nejmjobs.org/rpt/health-reform-may-reduce-physician-workforce.aspx Primary care, which is already experiencing significant shortages by many accounts, could stand to be the most affected, based on the survey. About 25 percent of respondents were primary care physicians (defined as internal medicine and family medicine in this case), and of those, 46 percent indicated that they would leave medicine — or try to leave medicine — as a result of health reform. Overall, almost 1/3 of our physicians have indicated that they would leave the practice of medicine should health care reform (as written), goes through. How will losing almost 1/3 of our physicians impact the quality of health care?

My original cover letter said a lot of stuff about technology, and theology, and high intellectual functioning activities Now I want to change my cover letter to say this: "I am looking for work so that I can fulfill my christian obligations to serve the Lord and help humanity be a better place. I am trying to raise money so that I can buy clean drinking water for children in Africa, clothes and shoes for poor people in remote villages, and food for orphans who do not have mothers to take care of them" My dream is to impact the world in a really big way and make a deep, strong and permanent connection with those in need so that they can feel connected to humanity again after undergoing the most severe tests of one's character and strength I have dreamed and fantasized about this every since I was a child and am not blessed with the intellect, the wisdom, and the capabilities to put my dreams into practice I want to be a disciple of the Lord as Jesus commanded and shine my light into the world Here's the clincher: Jesus said to do your good deeds in secret and to let NO ONE know about what you intend to do for others

Open Question: Please read my speech? May need to be improved?
He was hot. The perfect guy, every girl wants. She loved him with passion. She thought she knew everything about him. His FaceBook profile described him as the perfect gentleman. In reality, he was a freak. He sold drugs, was a convicted murderer, and was on the run. She gave him all her information. The day they were supposed to meet, he snuck into her house, and murdered her. Hello, my name is John Doe, and today I will talk about the impact the internet has on teens. The internet has millions maybe billions of websites. You can find anything on the internet, from dictionaries to social networking sites. Facebook and MySpace are two of the many websites that connect you with family and friends. Internet Relationships Internet relationships can lead to rapings, killings, and kidnappings. You should not start a relationship on the internet unless you have met the person, and know the person. You should NEVER trust anyone on the internet you haven’t met. They can make up a whole new person and make you believe they are that person. It is proven that teenagers need the most sleep besides kids. So why are they the most sleep deprived? Is it because they stay up late at night chatting with their friends on Facebook or MSN? Facebook, as well as MySpace can stop your child from doing their homework, they can get so hooked on these sites that they couldn’t care less about doing their homework. Does the internet have a behaviour effect on teens? On the internet teens have access to all different kinds of inappropriate things such as: Violence, and adult chat rooms. They can chat with people they do not know. They can see things they shouldn’t be seeing at their age. They can start swearing at their parents, or at school. They will most likely give in to peer pressure and do drugs, or drink alcohol like they see on the internet. Do teens rely too much on the internet to get their homework done? Teens use the internet to figure out things they don’t know. They search their homework on the internet, and instead of learning from their homework, they are just copying it from the computer. Teens can also ask people to tell them the answers to their homework on other sites. The internet keeps their brains from working. They only want to get it right instead of figuring it out for themselves. Cyber-bullying is another thing that can happen to teens on the internet. They can post stuff about another person on the internet, they can start hate groups on Facebook, or post hateful videos on YouTube. Another person can save it, and send it to anyone they want, and it will never be completely removed from the internet. Teens all over the world are becoming less and less literate because of internet slang. Teens are starting to use internet slang in essays, and when doing their homework. Many teens use abbreviations and numbers when typing on the internet. This habit makes writing papers in school difficult. Not all teens use the internet for bad, time consuming things, but a majority do. The internet can be used for all kinds of good things such as: Looking up information, connecting with your family and friends, and learning new things. The Internet can be used for good and bad, it all depends on how you use it. By the way i changed my name in my speech. i dont want perverts finding me.
