Open Question: Question about birth control?
Within the last month or two my periods have gotten lighter and they usually end before Im done the row of sugar pills in the pack (the ones you take when youre on your period). Theres usually two or three more left once Im done. So, do I continue taking the rest of them even though my period is done, or do I start the next pack?

So, in gym class we are now in a swimming unit. I have mild (but widespread) acne on my chest, back and shoulders. It is obvious to others that it is there. So that is the reason I am considering wearing a shirt for this swimming unit . . . but, I also have a nicely built body - pecs, 6 pack, the whole deal. And that is why I am considering not wearing a shirt. So my question is - is it worth to have no shirt, even though the guys and ladies will see the acne? Thanks in advance.
Open Question: Error sim 3 Launcher start up?
This is what I did 1: I've never use the exchange for anything, it never downloaded except when I first got the game, then for some reason it stopped working form me. 2: I uninstalled the WA pack used the original disc, it's patched to 1.79. Now the Launcher works and will down load game and I can reinstall all my original content. Plus I cleaned up any corrupted files. Thanks to Delphy! It will take a while to do it, but it should work fine. But once I reinstall WA pack, the It's back to square one. When I first got the Launcher to work, I uploaded the game and it patched it to I think 1.10 the last patch they did. Then I installed WA pack, same problem only this time, it would not up load game at all. saying " game not compatible, please up date via Launcher". Which lead to my second uninstall. I now I know what not to do. Which leads me to ask, should I use the next patch, or just quit while I'm ahead? I just Looked out side, Snowing in Northern Arizona! My dogs love it! Ok, so last month I messed up my birth control, then started my period early so I had to stop taking the pills in the middle of the month. I started my next pack the Sunday after that period started. I went to the doctor and they told me that I needed to use protection if iwas going to have intercourse for the next full month because my bc was a 100% anymore. Well about 3 days later I had intercourse unprotected, then throout this past month I haven’t use protection at all. Now its 3 days after I was suppost to start.. and nothing. And im having werid pressure in my blatter, its not like period cramps at all, its just an odd feeling. Any help please? I ment to say i started my period the sunday after i got off my period, lol. WOW, I really ment to say i started my new pack the sunday after i got off my period, lol. Sorry. and i had intercourse 2 weeks before i was suppost to start, which i've herd thats when your ovuating.

Open Question: I'm going to a wedding 3 weeks before I'm due--- what do I take?
Hi. I asked a question about this a couple months ago, when we found out that my husband's brother is getting married. So. certain things have changed since then, and I'm trying to prepare. :-) I'm due July 20th, and they've set the date for June 26th (so like 3 1/2 weeks, technically). The location of the wedding is 2 hours from the hospital, and my doctor said that, for the time being, that should be fine, unless complications develop. So now, I'm wondering- I was thinking that maybe I should go ahead and pack a bag to take to the hospital, too, just in case? Would it be crazy to leave the car seat in the car? And to go ahead and pack the diaper bag, etc., just in case our daughter comes early, and we'd need to go straight to the hospital? I'm not really doing anything to help, as far as the wedding set-up goes, other than doing the bride's and bridesmaid's hair (I'm a hairstylist, when I'm not pregnant, LOL), so I shouldn't be too stressed. Open Question: Comparison of melting points and boiling points of cis and trans isomer. Need help in understanding.?
I can understand that a trans-isomer usually has a lower boiling point, as the distribution of the groups about the carbon chain is more symmetrical, thus the dipole moments sort of "cancels" one another. But according to my Chemistry reference book: "The CIS-isomer usually has a lower melting point. This is because the molecular structure of a cis-isomer is less symmetrical. Therefore the cis-isomers cannot be closely packed in the crystal lattice. This reduces the extent of contact between neighbouring molecules. Consequently, the attractive forces are reduced and the melting point decreases." I can accept that the more "difficult" it is to pack the molecules together in a lattice, the lower the melting point. But I don't see why the cis-isomer is harder to be packed closely together just because it is less symmetrical. After all symmetry and tesselation are two different things aren't they? Can you all help me understand what my reference book says? It'd help me a lot.

I have a couple of packets of squash seeds. The packets read "PACKED in 2005". That is the not the expiration date, but the year they packed the seeds. So are they still good, after 5 years?? Open Question: I'm a little confused? Just need your opinion?
A perfect relationship is rare, if it even exists. My mom is with a guy that scared her. He hasn't actually HURT her. Once, he held her down on the bed and wouldn't let her up, and that was over her using his computer and finding dating sites. When she tried to leave him, I had the biggest scare of my life. To get away from him, me and my sister had to pack the truck in the middle of the night because we were afraid of what he would do. That day she came it crying, saying he was on his way with a gun. I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life. The police were called. He got there first and got out with a drink, not a gun. But the cops came directly after, so who knows what would have happened that night. Mom go back together with him, because he begged and cried and sweet talked her, and she said without him it was like missing an arm. I recently asked her what she thought would happen have happened, had he woken up the night me and my sister were packing, and she said she didn't even want to think about it. I asked her if she was scared of him. And she said at times, hell yes, aren't you? I said yes. And I meant it. He doesn't drink or anything. He is a veteran. This situation. Is it normal? He's never HIT me or my sister or brother. And I know that happens alot. So I don't feel like I have complaining rights. But I'm still scared of him. Are most relationships like this?
Open Question: Why is my DVD/CD ROM drive not working?
I have a HP computer and a while ago I packed it up before it was packed the DVD/CD ROM drive was working fine and properly but ever since I unpacked it & started it up again it has not been working. So today I went into my device manager on my computer and under DVD/CD-ROM drives it says Lite-ONCOMBSOHC-4836K & it has a yellow bubble with a exclamation point inside of it. I clicked on the Lite thing and it says Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupter or missing. (Code 39). I did all the trouble shooting things but it still does not work. What should I do?
Open Question: 43-yo w/recent stents, still having SEVERE pains in both chest & groin?
Last week, during an outpatient rotator cuff surgery, my husband had a mild MI. He was transported to the ER where he under went 2 cardio caths, 1 for evaluation, the second was to place 7 stents and do some roto rootering of 2 arteries. His EF was 70% going in. He spent a total of 5 days inpatient. The cardiologist said that even the ekgs from the center were rather unremarkable, but the evidence of pain & triponin levels rising, confirmed the MI He came home and was doing great for 3 days, including passive rehab on his shoulder, a trip to the grocery store, and a check up by his ortho surgeon. On day 5 after the stents, he began experiencing mild chest pains, and cyanotic nails, so I took him back to the ER. THey admitted him & did another cardio cath where they found 2 disections that required additional stents. There were no other complications, and the cardiolgist said that the arteries had improved significantly over the past week, and more of the plaque had been flushed out of his heart. That evening he was feeling great, walking several complete laps around the ward without discomfort or shortness of breath. Atfer I went home for dinner, his 3rd cath site became increasingly uncomfortable, and by 1 am(12 hours after the cath) he had taken all of the pain killers that had been prescribed and was still in pain, unable to go back to sleep. He continued to max out on pain meds, was advised to remain in bed, packed the site in ice, and eventually had to lie flat to minimize the pain. They did an ultrasound of the site, noting significant swelling, without redness, oozing, or heat, the site remained soft. Nothing was shown on the US. Eventually they added Demerol, and he was abe to pass out & escape the pain. The site of the previous 2 caths was never this swollen (maybe 1/4 of the swelling & bruising) and his site pain, even after having 2 in the same place, never went over a 3.without the meds, this sie is a 10 During the US, however he was still in extreme pain, and however gentle the tech tried to be, he was screaming, groaning, crying and nearly passing out the pain was so severe. During that time, he also began having chest pains. THe constant chest pains are local to an area the size of a plum, dull and getting a rating of 6-7 (with all of his pain meds on board) but then as he explains, it's like something catches, giving him very sharp stabbing pain rated 9 that pulses for a few moments then dissipates. I have been married for 11 years. i have 2 kids both in grade school. My husband is self employed, but both his mother and father are always at the business, being "the bosses" too. I do not like to go around there much, because I do not fit in with what I call the "Dynamic Trio". There is no room for me there. Im 29 years old, but I get treated like a child. My husband is never home, never has been. He leaves at 9AM and comes home at about 11PM. i have spent the last 10 years alone, all day, everyday. If I complaine, he doesnt have time to listen. He is always too busy. Two years ago, i found text messages between him and another woman on his cell phone. I found out it had been going on for three months. I confronted him and of course he denied that it was anything at all. When I asked him why did she get his attention , he told me she flatterd him. So on top of my lonelyness, I have spent the last two years, douting myself, feeling ugly, and alone. In my mind, i think "I cant ever get his attention, Im not good enough, I thought I was descent looking and always took care of myself, and yet this other woman "flattered" my husband and got his attention". I am convinced that marriage is bad, i dont like it, I feel trapped, I lost myself, Im lonely, and he has no time to even talk about it. we have had talks many times over the years and I have expressed what I want from him (attention, more family time) but nothing. Its always him, his father and mother, and on the other side its me and the kids. Get this, we just sold our house, and Im packing the whole house by myself, becasue he has no time to do it. I just got The Sims 2 along with a few expansion packs (The Sims2 Double Deluxe, Seasons, Apartment life and Teen Stuff (if it matters)) and when I try to run it it gives me this message :\ "Fails to find any DirextX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided my the manufacturer. The application will now terminate." I just downloaded something from the Microsoft website that I'm pretty sure was DirectX but I was a little bit confused so it might have been something else, the file I downloaded to run is called "dxwebsetup" which doesn't sound right, but I don't know. I have a windows xp that we bought about four years back. I had The Sims on this computer before we reformatted it, so it should work. What can I download/install to make this work? Hey, I'm writing a short story for English and I'm not sure about it.. I'll post the start and any criticism would be much appreciated! Preparing to climb a steep, treacherous mountain in the north of Scotland was not how I had planned to spend the first Saturday of half term. For weeks the holidays had lain stretched out in front of me, They had dangled freely in my wake; tempting me into their luxurious clutches. I had fantasised for what seems like eternity about waves of crystal lashing against rocky coves in some exotic destination which fulfilled my every need. I had imagined clubs bustling with people swaying to the pulsing rhythm of the music. I had dreamed of quaint little towns and market-places, culture filling every possible crevice. When we had planned a trip, being knee-deep in mud and other such revolting substances was not on my agenda. But here I was. Looking back, I suppose it was somewhat ironic that it was I, the most disorganized member of the group, who remembered to check the weather forecast that fateful day. It was I who took care to pack the maps and to make sure that we were all correctly equipped to make the ascent, not that I had anything more than basic knowledge, it was in fact my first – and last – time. It was still relatively early when we arrived at our destination, the trek looming ominously ahead of us. We were amusing ourselves by playing silly, infantile games and poking fun at one another. A childish insult was muttered and colour rose furiously to my cheeks. This was typical of our group, someone would say something to provoke me and I would struggle desperately to keep my temper – behaviour more fitting to a gathering of children in the playground than to a bunch of soon-to-be Law graduates. The situation developed rapidly and soon the atmosphere reflected the frosty weather. A tirade of abuse flew from my mouth like poisoned darts and before I knew it I was storming off into the marshland that led me up the mountain. The mountain itself was magnificent to behold, lush green and pure, unsullied white. My vision, however, was tinted red. I all but ran through acres of trees and long grass, not thinking where I was going but determined to reach the summit, just to prove I could, alone. Somewhere in the back of my mind I realised that I was being ridiculous, that I should turn back and apologize, offer to buy them dinner tonight, whatever it took, but my ego dominated my thoughts and I knew I had to do this. I picked up the pace, slipping into a steady jog. It began to drizzle, the sky sickly grey. The ground beneath me became hazardous and slippery and, inevitably, I lost my footing. Pain shot through my ankle, which was swelling rapidly. My back, exposed to a thin sheet of ice, began to ache, the bitter cold a stark contrast to the warm, sticky liquid trickling steadily down my face.

I've been on birth control since last July. Right now, my bc schedule is all out of whack, and I get my period in the middle of a pack. I just started my period and I thought it might be a good idea to skip the one pill blue pill I will have left for this month (along with the sugar pills) and simply start a new pack the Sunday after my period begins (which is this Sunday). Will this screw up my cycle (even though it is already screwed up)? Is it safe/advisable to do? I'm not sexually active. I use them for acne/period symptoms so I'm just concerned about messing up my cycle even morewhich I don't really think is possible. So should I just go for it? Also, my cycle is messed up like that because I've skipped pills in the past and not too long ago I decided to go off of them but four days later changed my mind and started back up again.

I have been on birth control since I was 16 and I am now 21. This past month, I stopped my birth control (after my period I just never started a new pack). The reason I went on the pill was because my periods were extremely painful and long, and I wanted it to help with that - which it did. Well, that was about 3 weeks ago that I stopped it - I am technically supposed to get my period next week, so no, I haven't missed my period yet and I know people say that your period is extremely irregular once you go off BC. However, starting a few days ago I have been having weird feelings - extreme pain in my abdomen, back pain, nausea but weight gain, and (sorry if TMI) I just went to pee and I had SO much clear discharge come out of me it freaked me out! It doesn't smell like anything, and it kind of looked like whiteish-clearish gel? Also, due to the abdomen pain last night I vomited I am also losing weight in random places like my chest and ribcage area, but it seems that I'm starting to develop a sort of "pouch" which I have never had before (I'm about 5'7''ish and 125 lbs consistently). I haven't worked out in a while and I do not eat very healthy, but I am just getting very nervous because I typically do not have much of an appetite, as I am on two different medications which severely curb my appetite. Everywhere I look on the internet for these symptoms, pregnant comes up? It does not burn when I pee, there is nothing noticeably different down there looks-wise, so what could it be!? I had sex with a condom (neither of us finished - we had been drinking..) on Feb 18, then on Feb 25 (he finished, but he was wearing a condom). I also had sex I believe once on or around Jan 21 and on or around Jan 29 - both times with a condom. I know this seems like a very stupid question, because I used a condom and in January I was on the pill, but I just feel extremely weird and it's making me nervous because I know weird stuff can happen, even with contraception. Other factors: Within the past 2 days, I have only gotten about 6 hours (not an exaggeration) tops of sleep because I am so stressed and busy with schoolwork - so I have also been downing caffeine to finish everything (I know, not healthy at all). That could explain the sore lower back I'm sure, but not the weird extreme discharge or vomiting right? Maybe the caffeine? Please tell me this is all just because of the hormone flux in my body since I stopped the BC, or something else other than pregnancy Am I freaking out for no reason?

I went to the doctor yesterday and she diagnosed me with endometriosis and suggested that i be put on birth control. When she told me the schedule for my birth control i kind of zoned out. Its a 28-day pack. The first 3 weeks are blue pills and the 4th week is white pills. My next menstrual cycle starts pretty soon. Are the white pills suppose to be the ones i take on my menstrual cycle? Or does it not matter and i start the blue pills that sunday no matter what?

I have it throughout my aquarium. I pull out gobs of it every few days and it just grows back. I have never used fertilizer. I have packed the tank with loads of other plants to absorb all the nutrients and choke it out. I turned off my CO2. I even wrapped the tank in foil for a week, hoping the lack of light would kill it. Nothing. I am beginning to get annoyed. I read that some people use buckwheat straw or something like that in their ponds to kill it, but since I'm not living in an episode of Green Acres I wouldn't have a clue where to get anything like that. Voting Question: Is it OK to still be bleeding after having a tooth pulled one day ago?
Yesterday at 12pm, I had a tooth pulled because my dentist wanted to send me to a specialist to do a root canal. The cost was going to be $765.00 and my insurance doesn't pay for root canals yet and I can't afford $765.00. So we both decided to pull the tooth. There were no complications and everything went fine. It's now been 31 hours later, I have no pain, a little bit of some swelling, and I'm still bleeding a little bit. Last night before I went to sleep, I took the gauze out and was just bleeding a little bit. I didn't keep a gauze in because I was afraid of swallowing the gauze. This morning when I woke up, my mouth was full of blood and I was bleeding. I immediately contacted my dentist and went in. She looked and said everything looked fine but still pack the tooth with gauze. I still am bleeding a little bit and I haven't even started to gargle water. Is this OK? She told me to wait 24 more hours. I've been eating jello, mashed potatoes, ice cream, and scrambled eggs while drinking milk and water. I feel so weak. I'm terrified of getting a dry socket. Like I said, I have had no pain, just a little swelling. Just still sensitive to cold and hot water.

I am on Alesse birth control and have been for three months. When I got it, they didn't mention that if you are on a 21 day pack, you need to stop taking it for seven days after finishing the pack. Resolved Question: Is the Democrat's loss on its grasp of power behind the new push by the Far Left to pack the Supreme Court?
Probably the most agregious of all the Far Left ideas are having Obama pack the court so they can have control over all threee branches. Everything must be done to stop them from this new push to monopolize power as their own grasp in power is being rejected by the people. Below is the push: The original Judiciary Act of 1789 set the number of justices at six. It shrank to five in 1801. It expanded to seven in 1807. It grew to nine in 1837 and 10 in 1863. It fell back to seven in 1866. It returned to nine in 1869 and has remained at that number since. Political issues accounted for the changes. The Federalists reduced the number to five, hoping to deprive Thomas Jefferson of an appointment. The incoming Democrats repealed that measure, raising the number to seven. It went to nine in 1837 to give Andrew Jackson two more seats. Civil War issues led to more fluctuations before the court settled at nine under President Ulysses Grant. Resolved Question: Guinea pigs wet cage ?
I have two female guinea pigs both sisters and both three years old, They had been living in a big ferret hutch that my dad made but since october 09 it started to get really damp and sodden. Last month we bought a new cage, my dad waterproofed it properly so no water could get in. But then after 2 weeks the cage was soaked, i thought the rain had gushed in or the water bottle had leaked, but then i found it was in the bedroom. It couldn't have been the rain or it couldn't have been the water bottle. we pack the sawdust in there and news paper the bottom. But at around october time, there hair was falling out so we took them to a specialist and she gave them some drops and then there cage started to get wet :S any ideas what it might be and how i can prevent it?

I had planed to pack my bags at 35 weeks. I started laying stuff out, then I thought this is ridiculous did you guys actually pack the bags ahead a time? I mean labor is so long, I am now planing just to write a list with stuff I need, which is not a lot and pack when I am in labor. Resolved Question: How to convince parents to let me fly alone?
I'm fourteen and I'd really like to spend Christmas this year with my Aunt and Uncle in New Zealand, because my father doesn't want to go, I have to go solo or not at all. I'm an experienced flyer and traveller in general, with over forty flights under the belt. I know how to pack, the whole airport process, and tips about flight attendents to restaurants and taxis. I know my mom is worried about me flying alone for my personal safety but also because we have crappy Canadian weather and I could miss a flight and get really screwed over, she has a point and I've considered this and decided it's something I feel comfortable with. I'm planning on booking a flight that's in the early morning, five or six AM if I can, and I'm going to select a connection through a place that has predictable weather and good conditions, just in case. I'm not checking any luggage, I'll just have a small purse and small suitcase I can store up top. I want this so bad, I can't tell you! I get myself all around our city in the evening hours and am responsible for my job bussing tables downtown, I live out at my family property during the summer and do the cleaning, cooking, shopping and babysitting for my grandparents and seven cousins, I know how to be responsible, and more importantly, I'm street smart and good at dealing with people. I have the year to convince them so I need to know how to talk about it, what to say, how often to bring it up, what's the best way to get them to let me go? This is something I want to do so much!

Here in Winnipeg, we are opening the MTS Centre to watch the USA/Canada game on the jumbo tron. They are expecting to have a packed house, with about 15,500 fans packing the arena. and I'm 35 weeks and a couple days. I will be delivered at 39 weeks so I only have 3 weeks and a few days left. I'm so excited but have never had a c-section before so I am nervous and want to make sure I pack the right things. Also if you had a c-section what did you wear home from the hospital?
Resolved Question: What causes green wound drainage?
I had laproscopic surgery and one of the incisions got infected. I have to pack the wound and dress it twice a day. The wound bed looks good, more shallow, less sore, but I have green drainage on my dressing. It's not thick or has a bad odor. Any ideas? I'm wondering if it's pseudomonas. I've been having chills and then get really hot, but I don't think I have fever. The wound seems to be doing well other than the drainage being green. I finished my antibiotics yesterday. The green drainage started about 3 days ago.
Voting Question: Is it wrong for me to expect my belongings back?
It can be kind of a complicated story, but I'll do my best to keep it short. In the process of moving, I brought a box of dvds to my friend's house. We were hanging out a lot so I thought it would be fun to watch a ton of movies together. I realized much later that I had made a mistake because I thought I had packed the box of movies into storage but I left them at her place. Her and her boyfriend broke off their relationship and she moved out but left my movies. He moved in with a friend and took my movies. THEN, he moved 2 hours away and left my movies with his old roommate. I live more than 2000 miles away now and my friend's ex says they were left for more than a month now so I technically don't own them anymore. I don't know how to get in contact with the old roommate and at this point I'm somewhat crushed. It was dvd's, yes, but there are also a couple sentimental home movies as well. What can I do? I made a mistake, and I have come to terms that it's my fault but I feel somewhat taken advantage of. Is it wrong for me to expect my things back? Are there any legal issues that are involved?

Ok so, they caught me with a pack of cigarettes at school, i came up with a lie and told them that i was just holding it for a friend, but they were really mine. I made it sound convincing so the school just told me i would get after-school detention and confiscated my pack. The women who dealt with me told me that i would have to tell my mom to come pick up the pack from the school. They didn't call my parents, i have to tell them my-self to come pick it up. I don't know weather or not i should tell my parents or just ignore it. What should i do, if i should tell them, how could i tell my mom with the least possibility of her flipping out?

Are any of these things regarding the foil true? 1) smaller, more numerous holes are better (made with a sewing needle for example) 2) too many holes makes the smoke thinner 3) too few holes makes the smoke harsher 4) it doesnt matter how you set up the foil, its all in how you pack the bowl 5) its better to keep the coal off the holes and on solid sections of the foil . thats all that comes to mind right now. But I am on a quest from the hookah gods to discover the best way to set up a hookah. and yes, i do plan trying a variety of ways to set up my hookah, but if someone knows something from experience already no need to reinvent the wheel if you know what i mean Thanks for your help! may your smoke by thick and flavorful
