Open Question: How do I get Microsoft Office Word to print the very top and bottom of the paper?
I have Microsoft Office 2010 beta and a Kodak ESP 3250. Not sure which is the problem, but I have an outline with a header and footer. The page number I inserted is decorative and covers the entire corner in blue circles on the top and instead of using a page number I inserted my name, which shouldn't cause any problems. The bottom I used a triangular pattern for the actual page number which covers the corner all the way to the edge of the paper. It looks fine and then when I go to print preview or to print, my title in the Header, the top circles on the right corner (that also covers the paper edge), and the triangle page number at the bottom right all get cut off. I have tried increasing the margins, decreasing the margins, moving the headers, and I don't understand why it doesn't print all the way to the edge. I am not sure if it is my printer or the program. What can I do to resove this issue? Also, it doesn't let me decrease the margins all the way to 0". Is this normal?

I'm not looking for a simple "he's an a hole. Move on" type of response. I am just curious about the psychology behind this now that I've been thrown into it. I did look into narcissism which somewhat fits, but what else? He definitely was eager as heck I. The beginning of our relationship. I think the infatuation phase covers up his own bad feelings and when the newness wears off his unhappy self is still there. He became quiet, distant and irritable over time until he just took off! I've talked to his last ex(3rd wife) and she said the same thing. It's a pattern for him. Everyone that knows him says he's going to end up an empty, lonely old man full of regrets one day. What causes someone to live their life like this?

I'm attempting a new pattern for knitted lace that is confusing me (it's from the book Vogue Knitting). It starts as follows: Using a multiple of 11 sts + 1 extra Row 1: k2tog *k5, yo, k1, yo, k2, sl 1, k2tog, psso' rep from * and end last rep ssk To me, this pattern appears to call for more than 11 + 1 stiches. I have used a stitch dictionary, and as far as I know, I understand what all the abbreviations mean and how to perform the stitches. I cound a necessity for at least 16 cast-on stitches to complete row one. Also, my attempts have left me with fewer stitches after completing a row than are necessary to continue (proof that I'm not getting something). yo - requires one stitch, creates two; k2tog - requires two stitches, creates one; ssk - requires two stitches, creates one.right? What am I doing wrong?! Unfortunately, that is exactly what it says in the book (and no corrections have been issued by the publisher for that page). Still having some trouble: if I attempt the pattern with 13 cast-on stitches, I end up with 12 for the next row. This can't be right! psso means the slipped stitch goes over the last knit stitch and OFF the needle, right?

All pieces of a kimono are rectangle shaped, cut out from 36cm width 12m long fabric (average) and sewn as is without cutting them in shapes. That means almost all pieces have salvages on sides so they don't unravel easily that's why it's easy to take apart for cleaning and resizing: there never was/is any pattern for kimono. Just good rulers and marking tools (eg. hera) are needed. In a way, it is very "ill-fitted". When fabric was an expensive commodity, one kimono would be worn without lining in summer, then after proper cleaning, sewn together with lining (sometime with padding) for winter. After it was worn out, used as underwear, or made into cushion covers or something, then floorcloth, diaper, etc. before discarded. And like the West, people wore good kimono for generations.
