Open Question: Is it normal to worry so much?
Here is a list of a lot of the things I worry about: I worry that I will never meet anyone or marry, settle down and have kids I worry about whether I will ever be successful in life I worry about my niece and nephew I worry about who I am speaking to online and what I post and have posted online I worry about my niece growing up and whether she would be sexually harassed by a predator or someone close to her as I would. I worry about what would happen if I take her overseas and look at some of those countries and how unsafe they are and what would happen. I have nightmares about taking my niece and nephew somewhere and them going missing or running off on me and not being able to find them. I worry about what sort of mother I would be. I worry that I will never get better at anything and never improve my life. This is just a sample of things, there are many more. I would love to be the girl who does not worry, is bright and bubbly with a can of rum and coke in her hand and loads of friends but I cannot be that girl and do not care to be much.
Open Question: Do I qualify for OHA if I'm in the barracks but deployed and my wife is in living in the Philippines?
I've gotten 2 different answers for housing allowance. One was that I didn't qualify for OHA because I lived in the barracks and not off-post. The only way I'd qualify is if I'd live off-post and it would be at the OHA rate of my OCONUS pds. The other answer was that I did qualify. She lives overseas and I'm no longer in the barracks (deployed in Iraq) so I qualify for overseas housing allowance at the rate in the Philippines, which is where my wife resides. I moved to a different state and we just recently reconnected on facebook. We used to hang out, but I didn't think he liked me before, but he's the smart, quiet type so he's less aggressive. We talk on facebook and keep up with each others posts, and he sent me a message saying "When are you visiting again?" Does it sound like he's interested? He knows the only reason I moved away was to finish school and earn my degree. We're both 26. UPDATE: I responded this morning, and he just responded saying "It's just weird being, effectively, pen pals." Then went on to say other things. What does that mean? Does it mean he doesn't think we should talk since we're long distance. What do I say to that??

Open Question: I'm divided on what to think of her?
I met her one weekend. We didn't get a chance to talk too much. I added her and she commented on my status right away. I posted on her wall the next day and it's been over a week and she hasn't replied. Her feed has been minimal since. This is what I know about her: she's beautiful with blonde hair and blue eyes that can stand out in a crowd. She doesn't use her Facebook very regularly. She has about 500 wall posts and 200 photos since 2007. She comes from a small town of 3000 people and has a lot of them added. She only talks to a few people. She has a pretty big family with half brothers and sisters that she talks to a lot. She is currently away for university (a different one than me) for two years now, but it seems she stayed in high school an extra year, making her 20. Her photos are mostly of her with friends, not too crazy. She wore a toga for Halloween. The most intimate photos of her with guys have her arm around them, and it's usually someone different who she doesn't seem very close to. She does some fun, childish sort of things, like setting up mazes for herself when she procrastinates. She says she's interested in men and 'whatever she can get.' Her profile also says she's Catholic, but I don't think she's very religious. She openly drinks and goes out. She's joined groups on Facebook with photos of a lot of muscular shirtless men, but she herself doesn't appear to be attached at all. Considering how beautiful she is, it's surprising how practically no guys are trying to get her attention. There's been some talk of a date she had, and once not "partying too hard, and [she] knows what that means." She studies politics (like me- that's how we met) and cares about social issues. She participates in campaigns for Haiti and Darfur and calls herself a good girl. She definitely studies a lot. So I just want to know is it as good as it seems? Is she a beautiful and innocent small town girl, or are there some warning signs here? What kind of girl does she sound like? Thing is, even though I'm graduating and have 500 things to work on and think about, I'm still thinking about her a lot. I guess that's because we really seemed to have a connection, and I only meet a girl I'm attracted to every couple of years. After this, I'm going to stop checking it and just see where things go. Therefore no need to call me a stalker, I pretty much admit it for now. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed. I have a lot of other priorities right now. I'm just wondering about this because I don't have a clear line of communication with her. If I did, there would be more information for me to go off of. I just want to know if this is worth pursuing, because like I said, I'm only interested in like one girl every other year.

I've been assigned the role of pro ID in a debate for allowing the theory of ID to be taught alongside evolution. I don't really have much of a personal opinion towards both, so unlike the last time I tried this stop telling me that ID is creationism in disguise please, I hate going through 20 posts and putting thumbs downs on them to seperate the useless from the somewhat useful posts. :/ Ok it's still a very rough sketch on what I'm gonna start with, I have basically no research collected right now :(, I'd love anything that you can come back at me INTELLIGENTLY with though and maybe some useful reads to help correct what I'm saying:) 1. More than 150 years ago Darwin chose to put his two dimes (is it pennies or dimes?) into the theory of how we came about. He produced from his studies and observations on life a book called "An Origin of Species", since then it has been viewed as a piece of literature full of controversy and curiosity. Darwin chose to defy the current popular belief of the world, his own belief, Creationism. Instead he offered what he believed was a more logical theory of how we came to be. Since then evolution has gained more and more observations and proof to back it up, but from the solidifying of many parts of Darwin's theory you will note that some questions are still shrouded in mystery. How did life start? What are the chances of us, becoming so amazingly complex in only a matter of a few million years, a blink of an eye in the life of the universe? (THIRD Q help! D: I know there's some idiotic thing that evolution hasn't completely found proof to back up with!)That is when Intelligent Design comes in. Unlike creationism, ID supports the theory of evolution and natural selection, but we look further asking if all of Darwin's ideas are probable and try to answer the things he cannot with a more logical answer. The theory of ID finds itself in the same position as the theory of evolution was 150 years ago, hoping to educate people and show them what could possibly be the next big step in science. Ok that's it, I know I left a lot of gaping holes which can be attacked. Would someone help me try to fix this up, and any help with what I should expect the con group to reply with next would be appreciated :) Ty! Ok, take out the origin of life, I do realize I have the losing side T_T but if I can through conniving and stretched truths prove that ID is a scientific theory, because it doesn't technically ask for a supernatural cause I believe, it asks for a design which can be scientifically caused by nature I think. Would you consider it an ok defense to say that ID is a theory and that it should be taught alongside evolution to open up children to questioning evolution. Since at school it is being taught as fact or law, not theory.

Open Question: Computer won't work, why not? please help?
I bought a new CPU fan and thermal grease, applied to it, and installed the fan safely I made sure it's proper socket and size. And i do upgrades/custom installation occasionally But this time my PC won't work, I turn it on but my screen won't show anything, I made sure all wires are plugged in and all. Plus my motherboard has some yellow lights glowing somewhere near the CPU :/ please help, why won't it work and How can I fix it? After a slipped condom i took the Emergency Contraceptive pill Plan B. shortly after i had a heavy 2-3 day period. Im not sure the exact date but im positive it was a two to three day period. The month after i took plan B i got my period the 15 of february and it lasted about 7 days. This month of march im wondering when i should expect my period? my high anxiety tells me everytime i have sex im pregnant so i always end up "sweating out" my period? i have been sexually active this month and am extremely worried about the date my period should occur? The 15 which is a few days from now or the 20-23 which was my normal cycle. Lately i have been having PMS symptoms: Heavy mood swings, lower back pain, sharp vaginal pain but me being worried they were pregnancy symptoms took a test which turned out to be negative! over all when should i recieve my period?? PLEASE HELP ANY ADVICE IS WELCOME. I dont do well with negativity so if i sound dumb please just ignore this post and dont comment. :] thanks Tanya 23 years old thanks guys.!

Open Question: Another stupid worry I hope?
Ok im very embarassed to be asking this, but am kinda worried. This is a serious post and isn't meant to be explicit or anything!! My friend said she had masurbated internally with hairbrushes/make up brushes. Me and my boyfriend tried this with a makeup brush inside of me a while ago, and since then ive done it quite a few times on my own over last year. im worried that this could have hurt me. It has never caused pain, however im worried it could lead to cancer, i.e. brush was made frm plastic (coloured plastic) and a little part metal, im worried could have been toxic or at least a carcinogen!!!! should i be worried, I have done it quite a few times but this has only dawned on me recently and now I feel so stupid. I have no pain or bleeding im just worried for the future. I know I shouldnt use objects not specifically designed fro the purpose and wont in future so Ive thought of stuff like it not being clean already but dont seem t have caused an infection. Im worried as the brushes were probs quite cheap one from boots I think and maybe could have had cheap lacquer on them I dont know and maybe it could have rubbed off or something like that. Should I be worried? I also posted this topic on another website and someone said cheap dildos etc could cause cancer cos of the type of plastic, and im thinking if they can then my brush could as was probs a cheap plastic, argh! Im just scared traces may have been rubbing off inside m and I didnt know. Open Question: Is a "Profile" or "Group" more appropriate for a deceased individual's page?
My dad passed away over 5 years ago and I want to create some kind of memorial to him via Facebook. I am not sure whether a Profile page similar to my own page would be more appropriate, or if I should instead create a Group dedicated to my dad. Whatever I create has to be as secret as possible, with the ability to post photos, wall posts, and possibly videos if we have any. Open Question: complicated crush on my coworker?? cant stop thinking about her?
I can't get her out of my mind! On several occasion i find it disrupting my sleep. She has given me very mix signals from the beginning and now i believe she lost interest in me, but I'm left with an ache in my heart. She is somewhat flirty in nature, and i don't know if it may have mislead me to believe she was interested in me. This start a year ago when we both were hired to our current job. Our relationship was no more than simple coworkers. Few months followed, and we began talking and notice her more. In one occasion our work had an Easter egg hunt event around the office, and she dragged me around the office helping her find the eggs. Additionally, she would ask about my age quite frequently and often tease me or compliment my "youthful" appearance compared to my age ( in my 20s and the age gap between us is about 2 or 3 years). Generally, when we're together, we tease each and joke around a lot ( i absolutely love the way she laughs). Now the confusion in this "relationship". Every time i try to talk to her outside of work, i feel my conversation ( 90% of my conversation on the phone is through texting) with her is limited because she forces to end the conversation. Im unsure as to the reason why she does this, perhaps she doesnt want to extend our relationship beyond the work environment or she is limited on texting? Secondly, since the beginning she worked on the same desk with another guy. i believe she relates to him better than me because they both immigrated here from china. I on the other hand, was born in the US and very Americanized, as a result, my ability to speak Chinese is very limited. As they become closer, our relationship is becoming more distant to the point where we only exchange only a few words during the whole day, and most of the time the exchanges were only work related. i miss what we had or didnt had.. but most of all i just miss her, even though i see her everyday at work. Ive tried to distant myself from her and eventually get over the crush, but it just seems to be futile and may even be intensifying it. There are other cute candidates at my work, but i find myself using my crush as the standard, which only one in my mind can only fit. I though about just going out with the first girl i find to help me get over the crush, but i feel it will be unfair for the girl to use her in such a way am i a hopeless cause? Any suggestions or comments? i apologize for this long post and appreciate the time u spent reading this.

Ok so in bakabt dunno why but the mods are super touchy and they will ban you if you even touch them or call them "bad". So i was banned for a similar reason and god knows why on earth i am banned from READING forums too. I mean banning means no posting in forums - not no posting!!! I registered on Rotten Tomatoes to post on it's forums, but I keep getting this message, "you do not have permission to access this page. Open Question: What wrong with my facebook? hellllp?
There's something wrong with my facebook home page, it only started happeneing a few days ago. Everytime i log into facebook my home page doesn't scroll down at the bottom to see older posts. and also when i get notifications i click the little red number and it just loads forever and never opens. I have found a solution to see the scroll and see my notifications but i have to go into privacy settings - application settings and then click home and it's fine but as soon as i click refresh it goes back to not scrolling and not showing notifications. i don't understand why it would just do this all of a sudden, any one else have this problem and any solutions?
Open Question: Is it really a criminal offense to swear in public?
I live in Australia, Sydney. I am 19 years old. I've been here for only 2 weeks. My mates and I went drinking last night and I got really drunk. One my friends kept irritating me so I told him to 'F*ck Off!'. I must have said it quite loudly, and a police officer drove over to me and told me to go against the wall. He said that he was going to deport me for swearing in public. I told him I was new here and I had no idea about the rules, yet he threatened to throw me into jail if I argued with him. In the end, I gave him my address and he said he will send me something by post - and that I will have to a pay a fine of $200 AUS for swearing in public. That's a ridiculous amount. Someone please help me. I don't know what to do. I'm really upset about this. And I don't think it is right. I think he was discriminating against me because I was asian. He could have just given me a warning and a lesson so I wouldn't do that again, yet he fined me. That's really unfair. What can I do?
Open Question: How to take out my lip jewelry?
I recently bought new jewelry from Koi Piercing Studio for my lip piercings. Open Question: Help, so confused on what material my old dentist used AND dry mouth question, please help!?
I had about 3 root canals and 5 fillings done at a private practice dental office I then went to a dental college to have the rest of the work done 1. The Professor looked at the teeth that got the recent fillings. She said they were fine but she didn't know what type of matieral the other dentist used but they were fiine. Should I be worried?? 2. The student dentist was going to do the post and cores. I complained about one of the root canals so she took xrays and brought them to the Endodontics part of the college. They looked at them and said it would be better for me to go to the other floor to have the post work done on the root canal because they aren't sure what type of material was used in the root canal. She said they said that they might have a difficult time putting the posts in the canals and that the other dept has better tools. She said she thinks the private dentist used gutta percha. Okay now this is freaking me out. Why wouldn't my old dentist have used good material. Did he use bad material? Now starting a few days ago, I keep getting this nasty, stringy, almost like peices of orange are floating around in my tounge. I think it might be dry mouth. But what if it's the temporary crown material and the filling material that the last dentist did..what if all that stuff he put on my teeth is coming out of them and into my mouth. HELP ME PLEASE :( It feels like fiber glass is in my mouth
Open Question: Plan b alters period cycle?? help!!! when should i expect my next period?
After a slipped condom i took the Emergency Contraceptive pill Plan B. shortly after i had a heavy 2-3 day period. Im not sure the exact date but im positive it was a two to three day period. The month after i took plan B i got my period the 15 of february and it lasted about 7 days. This month of march im wondering when i should expect my period? my high anxiety tells me everytime i have sex im pregnant so i always end up "sweating out" my period? i have been sexually active this month and am extremely worried about the date my period should occur? The 15 which is a few days from now or the 20-23 which was my normal cycle. Lately i have been having PMS symptoms: Heavy mood swings, lower back pain, sharp vaginal pain but me being worried they were pregnancy symptoms took a test which turned out to be negative! over all when should i recieve my period?? Resolved Question: How come a picture of a heterosexual couple kissing doesn't result in a suspension?
I was suspended for having a picture of two men kissing each other -- it was NOT open-mouth, and was simply a picture of two men kissing each other. I've seen pictures of a man and a woman kissing each other in the same fashion as the one I posted, and I've even seen pictures of naked children being spanked, or simply naked CHILDREN in generally, and they've been up for long periods of time. I never broke the guidelines on Yahoo! Answers on my previous account, never received a violation notice and was an active member of the Yahoo! Answers community. I avoided all confrontation in any question, and avoided any question that may have resulted in a violation. Then, I woke up and realized that I was suspended. Upon investigation, it seemed as though I was suspended because I had a picture of "pornography." Why is it that a picture of a man and a woman kissing each other, and pictures of naked children, don't result in suspension, but a picture of a a picture of a gay couple kissing does?

I am on a friend's computer and cannot answer any questions because there is no Answer button. It is so odd. I can post questions. I am not a new member so what is going on? None of the questions I want to answer are my own. I am on a PC. But that should not have a bearing on the Answer biutton is not showing up. Help please? You misunderstand me. I am trying to just answer questions just asked. Not those in voting. I am not a novice here. The button is not there, just the report abuse. My own computer is a MAC and it is acting up. Never had that problem on my Mac. But this pc does not allow me to answer any of the questions my contacts have asked. there is a glinch in the system somewhere.

Open Question: UNITAR, MMU, or UNITEN?
Hello, I'm currently in a situation on pursuing Information Technology course after SPM in either universities. I got only 5As, among them is English A+, BM A+, Math B+, ICT A, and EST A-. I won't take Engineering as I got my Addmath D and my Physics C. I am tempted to UNITAR,a s there is a possibility for me to pursue straight to degree. Thus, I (maybe) could finish with less one year than if I take foundation in others and could pursue a job and help my family faster. However, I read some comments that UNITAR has a terrible attitude in asking for payments, that most social influence of the students there are not good. Also, is it true that people don't actually consider UNITAR's degree in IT when they want to give jobs? MMU is definitely the popular choice for IT, including the top-notch facilities. However, I read some forum posts, and some ex-student's comments, that it have high prices for the courses I am qualified to take. Money is a big matter to me. Lastly, UNITEN. For UNITEN, I am clueless. I can take the foundation for Information and Technology, but as I ask about UNITAR, is their qualifications accepted anywhere? Or only in companies related to TNB? So, what I want to ask is: 1. Which is accepted, or at least future employer will consider when searching for jobs? 2. Which are the facilities in each universities? For example, the only thing I know about MMU is that they provide intranet for students staying there. 3. Which one that have less infamous (famous for bad reasons) social or education discipline problems? 4. Which has good benefits in learning? For example: the lecturers aren't always absent, the library is resourceful, or any extra benefits for learning there. 5.Money problems, how they treat us regarding payments. Do they threat us or do they gave us some considerable leeways? Please help me, I want to make sure I will not make mistakes again for my future. Give out any experience in learning there, or what you heard of.
Open Question: How do I create a website like freecycle that allows posts and offers etc.?
I belong to freecycle, but more and more freecycle is becoming too restrictive on how to post, ways to post, what to post, etc. The freecycle group I belong to has recently started to request participants word count subject lines to me thats rediculous, other members agree, and so before leaving the group I wanted to see if there were a way to begin my own website (unfreecycle related) so 'members' can exchange or gift items without the hassle of an over abundance of rules. My idea is to start a site where people can post offers or wants from our area and it be practically anything community news, pets, recyclables, etc. Items freecycle allows or, doesnt allow currently with little moderating or, few posting rules. How do I do this? Thanks.

Resolved Question: How come sometimes bipolar is mis-diagnosed as schizophrenia and vice versa?
I've read many posts and even had friends that were first diagnosed as schizophrenia and then later as bipolar, or first as bipolar then schizophrenia. I was first diagnosed as schizo and now am latest diagnosed as bipolar. How do the 2 mimic each other to cause the mis-diagnoses? Thanks

this was originally suppose to be for my blog but it wouldnt post and it took me for ever to write so im gonna post it here:dear blogers, today i had to think about what i am going to do this march break, i thought about many things like art,photograhpy,modeling,traveling and well i came up with no idea on how to acually save enough money for thesse things with my dog and my rent its been quite hard to keep up with the bills latley.So i thought i might just foucus on daily life for now instead of lala land, and then it came to me, i am very lonley and cant do many things i want to do because of my socail aniexty disorder(SAD). Im sure some of you have heard of this of coruse i could be wrong so i will tell you guys a little bit about this. Socail aniexty disorder is basicly a fear of socailizing with other people,meeting,being around big crowds etc. i have never been to a dance,on a date, and im starting to think i never will because of my (SAD) i am only 17 but this has ruined my life for 3 years now and i tryed just about everything but i didnt work and i failed once again.It just makes me feel like a fail like i am not good enough for the world,i know people love me and care but somedays i feel its not there.I feel lonley and sad and cry myself to sleep everynight, i do not think i am ugly or anything but i am just so afraid of being bulled so bad again like it was 3 years ago when this all stared.I know i have to let it go and move on but i cant i tryed so hard i even tryed running away from everything and everyone but it didnt work for long it came back in about a day, and i havent got many creidts for school cause i am home schooled and am staring to worry about how am i gonna have a normal life a husband,kids,enough money to live off of, and i just dont know.I dont even know how its posible for me to get married ever cause i have never even been on a date.And i am trying to get though this still but am on the verge of giving up because everything i put an effort into doing i just fail every time,and anything i want to do in life that normal people do i wont be able to because of (SAD). it really pisses me off and makes me cry,feel lonley, depressed,not good enough etc. i cant even sleep much because of all of this the thoughts or fears i have of what could happen just race though my head like race cars on a track.I just cannot belive i have to live with this it could be much worse but to me it is a living HELL.If any of you guys have the same problem as me pls contact me though e-mail and we could talk about how we will get though it together so i dont feel like the only one who has it.
