When you really look at it, I've worked in the corporate environment for almost 10 years making great money and doing NOTHING. Half my days I spend screwing around the office with younger co-workers and playing around online. In all honestly I put in about 45 mins of 'real' work' everyday. Not because I'm lazy but because .. honestly there isn't much to do at these places and in reality we survive on profit not daily hump breaking. Now in the 90s when I worked at wendys and then a bus boy making 5 dollars an hour I busted my rear for 8 hours a day nonstop and went home brutalized. Quite honestly I don't speak for the hard working Americans but those of us working at huge metro-hip companies don't do much all day. Okay, I asked the question about my title, and was surprised (though, I shouldn't have been) that many people had the wrong perception of my novel based on the title alone. Now, I'll give you a quick summary for the title, and you can tell me whether or not you think the title is perfect for the novel or if it should be changed. Thanks for any comments. 'The Last Vampire Hero' In my novel, vampires have been hunted for years and are now weaker than humans. They've gone into hiding just to survive. My vampire male wants to come out of hiding and live life freely just like humans, but he's prevented from doing so. He meets a girl who's father just happens to be a vampire hunter, but she doesn't know he's a vampire and he doesn't know her father is a hunter. Eventually, they both find out the truth. She falls for him after learning this (don't worry, it's not a romance story, lol) and he uses her to get what he wants (more info about the hunters). The novel will focus on the progression of his anger and his changing ambitions. He starts out as a starry-eyed vamp who just want to survive and live like all the humans are living - have a job, get an education and just live his life, but he has to live in hiding in the city's sewers and live like a poor person, even though his family is rich. The human girl befriends him and over time he becomes envious of her freedom, and even jealous. Over time, he ambitions and goals change. He no longer only wants to live freely, but he wants vampires to be powerful again, and that means finding ways to defeat the hunters and help vampire regain their "natural" strength over humans. With his changing goals, he becomes the vampire's last hero, because if he is successful then the vampires can come out of hiding and regain their proper place at the top of the food pyramid, if that makes sense, lol. If he fails then there is no hope for vampires because the rest are afraid to come out of hiding for fear of being hunted and killed. In the end, one of them will die; either the girl or the vampire. (I haven't decided which one, yet.) I'm leaning toward killing the girl, because she never listened to, or believed, her father when he told her to stake any vampire she comes across - she wants to believe they're friendly - they are at first, but that changes. The vampire wants to kill her father, but she won't help him and this is the final stake in their friendship. She also tries to stop her father from killing him. I haven't decided on the exact end, but either she will end up killing the vampire boy and go on to become a hunter herself, or he will end up killing her and then he'll take the info she supplied him with (how hunters find and kill vamps) and start training vamps and helping them regain their strengths to defeat the hunters. My sister is a single mom. The father is unknown. My parents have been watching her son for several years. At times I think she takes advantage of them. It seems like she has her schedule made so they have him the most and she doesn't. She uses excuses so they keep him overnight. Like it's too late to come and get him after work. He has school. She then goes out and gets drunk after work. I would say they have him 4 to 5 days and nights a week. She only sees him long enough to take him to school in the morning. Well my mom found out she has a life threatening illness and she is in her upper 60's. I tried to tell my sister that my dad would now have to help care for mom and they cannot be raising her 8 year old son too. They are too old and have already raised three kids. I think she is upset and I know she has made her life so she can't live without free babysitters. She lived as though my parents were going to do it forever. She needs to grow up and face reality. That mommy and daddy aren't always going to be here to take care of everything. I might sound mean, but she really needs to be more independent. They spoiled her and now she is used to that and cannot make it on her own.

I took a friend of mine to the Dr, and he did an ultrasound on her. He said that her baby did not have a placenta. He said it was a high risk pregnancy, and she is on bed rest now. It started a little after Christmas, I would get sore bones and joints, and extreme fatigue, and I worried my pants off about it. I went to the doctor, he said it was probably mono. He had me blood tested for Mono, Diabetes, Iron Deficiency, and a CBC. I went on a trip for a week and it didn't bother me again till' I got back, I've been noticing it a lot more often. I'm 19 years old and I only work about 20 hours a week, and I get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. Everyone keeps telling me I'm blowing it way out of proportion. I'm still worried. My Grandpa died of bone Cancer when he was in his 60's, and my mom had thyroid cancer when she was 17, she survived. I just don't know what else it could be. My mono came back negative and my blood tests came back normal, but I read that cancers don't show up in your CBC My thyroid tests also came back fine. I have frequent headaches as well.

I've been posting here and there the past couple of days. Basically, the guy I've been seeing hasn't talked to me in 3 daysafter saying he didn't need time but he needs space and being all around disrespectful. Everyone has said break up with him and whatnot.and I'm not disputing any of that. But.whats bothering me right now is that I'm concerned about a possible birth control failure.I switched and was told I would be protected. From what I can find.the earliest I can get results from a pregnancy test, if it isn't positive already, is 19 days (2 weeks plus adjusted time for 5 days sperm can survive) after the last time I had sex. I am pretty close to that.but not close enough. Basically.there are things going on around me that are stressing me out and I want to believe it's stress. But I'm nauseous..I've eaten very little, tried to cook chicken last nightit was horrible. I'm very tired (which could be the stress). And I've have breakthough bleeding.which is unusual (I have used both form of b/c before and never had problems). So..I'm freaking out. I love my boyfriend of almost 5 years (will be 5 in june) but I'm starting to have my doubts on the relationship because I'm starting to feel like I'm being used. Ever since we first started going out he has known that I want to get married and have a family. He always says that he will propose, he just wants me to be surprised. At this point I don't care about the surprise. It's kinda like crap or get of the pot already. We have lived together since about a month after we got together because he was having roommate troubles. I have always been affectionate and loved making out, etc but with him it doesn't happen. He doesn't try. I bring it up and tell him what I like yet still he does nothing. I get kisses from him like you would get from your mom or grandma. Sex mostly lasts 5 to 10 minutes at most with 0 foreplay. He doesn't like to brush his teeth and when he does make an attempt at making out he's like a vacuum cleaner and sometimes i can't breathe plus he will breathe into my mouth and his nose breath makes me unable to take in air sometimes. I don't know what to do. Tuesday night he was a jerk when I went to work. My car was in the shop so I had to take his truck (which he refuses to get insurance on) and it was so slippery that I almost lost control a few times. When I called him because I was scared and terrified all he could say was that I needed to buck up and that if he knew the weather was going to be like that he would've driven me. Which is baloney because he doesn't pay attention to the weather or anything. I know he didn't drive me because he didn't want to get up an hour early to come get me. I got off at 8am and he works at 9am but gets up at 8:55am. All this stuff is really starting to get to me. There's almost no affection. and I now realize that I have been craving it. But I still love him very much. He doesn't have any friends and wants it that way, but I'm realizing that I need friends to survive. What do I do? I have let him know that I would like more affection but it does nothing. If he tries to touch me down there I have no trust for him almost because he goes RIGHT for the spot and he play fights me all the time so my body flinches away, not knowing that he's trying to be sweet, and when he sees this he gets upset. He always asks if sex was good and I usually have to lie because he will pout forever. Sorry this is so long. Is this just a rut? What's going on? If you were in this situation what would you do? I was always okay in school but horribly inconsistent. I'd either have A's or D's depending on the subject. ALSO. I have real hard times with keeping on schedule and on time. And don't even get me started on homework. ANYWAY, I know that I will have drive to do it since it's something I'm choosing instead of high-school where you HAVE to go. BUT! I'm just a little nervous and I think rightly so. I think I will have a lot of fun classes but probably a lot of boring health classes where it is all just lectures and info. That is when I'll just completely zone out into my own world. ANY TIPS for surviving?

my female guppy looks defintley pregnant i bought her and the male about 3.5 weeks ago she defintley looks pregnant cause she is more puffy and her gravid spot is showing very visible. she is not really showing any signs like not eating or hanging around the bottom or filter. shes pretty active , and shes eating. also the male keeps bumping in to her and it looks like is poking her stomach with his head . she is trying to escape him. anyways so i bought a breeder trap because i think the natural way will leave me with only 3 baby guppies instaed of 20. but i dont know when i should put her in there. btw i have a 32 gallon tropical tank with 2 gouramis and 7 neon tetras so i know the baby's wont survive. thats why i built a a temporary tank out of a a huge plastic bowl. it holds about 8 gallons or so and i put in a small aqua clear 10 filter on low. do you think the filter will kill the babies?. also do the babies need a heater for a certain tempature or is room tempature fine?.main i need to know when and how long i should put my pregnant guppy in the breeder trap?

I have used a couple of online ovulation/ pregnancy calculators but I am getting different results so My last period started on 27th Feb and I normally 28 to 30 days in my cycle. I had intercourse twice on 10th March, do I have a good chance of fallign pregnant? My partner is away a lot so have to grab the chances when we can but im not sure if it was too early before ovulation or not, how many sperm survive for 4-5 days, is it a good number or only a very small amount etc.
i just wanna know and if yes what you think would be the best way to survive lol
Craig Sweeney was found guilty of the abduction and sexual assault of a three year-old girl. He was known to the victim's family, whom he had befriended weeks before the crime. Sweeney was released on licence in late 2005 after serving a term in jail for indecently assaulting a six-year-old in April 2003. While on licence, he was accused of inappropriately touching a child's bottom, but the police and probation workers did not return him to prison, despite his "risk of harm" being raised to "high". Sweeney abducted the girl on January 2, 2006, two days after his licence had expired. He drove her to his Newport flat where he was living on licence. He was caught the day after, when he crashed his car during a high speed chase initiated after Sweeney jumped a red light. The girl, who was in the crash with him, survived with minor injuries. Sweeney admitted four charges of kidnapping, three of sexual assault and one of dangerous driving. His defence counsel said he had "shown remorse when arrested and was distressed at the depravity at what he had done". He was sentenced to life in prison with a tariff of 18 years, and will be considered for parole after five years and 108 days. The tariff was so because of his co-operation with the police and his guilty plea at the latest opportunity, as well as the time he had spent in custody awaiting trial. On July 10, 2006, it was decided that the case would not be referred to the high court of appeal, as the sentence had being compliant with the law.and he didn't want to bow to public pressure .
