Okay so I got the Sims 2 a long time ago, I also have the pets and the nightlife. It worked fine on my old computer, I got vista and now I can load it but when it starts up it says "You are running the wrong version of The Sims 2. Please run T instead." what does that mean?!!? What do I do now? I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it SO many times I'm going out of my skull. I got my nightlife for Christmas and didn't even get to play it yet! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I just got a new HP with Windows 7. It worked great and then we moved and had to switch our internet to our new house. When our new internet was up everything worked fine (its verizon DSL) but then I realized that I could'nt watch videos or listen to music, every time I do it freezes and says internet not responding. I recently updated my phone's software to version KV07. I though that perhaps maybe the bug where if the phone isn't locked/asleep and it's on vibrate, the ringer still goes off. After I applied the update, it just got worse. Now, whenever it's locked or unlocked, the ringer goes off while the master volume is on vibrate. WTF? Is there a way to fix this? It doesn't go off randomly, it happens when I get a text.
A couple weeks ago I was in my first love triangle. One of the guys, We'll call him josh, was veryy into me and did the cutest things to try and win me over, yet I wasn't totally feeling it. The second guy, Paul, was the one I was more interested in. They both new about each other, I was honest about that. They met twice. This triangle started without me even being aware of it. I was into Paul, but josh started to have strong feelings for me.. so I guess thats how it started. I was confused because josh seemed like the perfect guy, doing all those nice things for me, and he's basically like a boy version of myself. I wasn't that attracted to him though. But with Paul, ohhh man I wanted to just devour him every time I saw him. Paul and I had lots of fun together but I felt I was more into it than he was. Anyway to make a long story short, I got so frustrated with juggling the two and not knowing who to pick, I told both of them to go away. I had a long talk with Paul, I told him I didn't know if I could be with him because he didn't seem as into it as me. He's a very busy guy, works 3 jobs and goes to school. He told me we should be friends because he couldn't give me what I wanted until March. We ended on a good note, or so I thought. I come home and go on facebook and he had deleted and blocked me. I was confused. After all that I ended up giving josh a chance. I know I care about him, but we were friends before we were romantically involved, so its a weird transition and I still don't know how I feel about him. Anyway, to conclude, I;ve been thinking about Paul a lot lately, and I know now that the Olympics are over hes not working as much.. he unblocked me on facebook but didn't add me as a friend again. I haven't talked to him in a couple weeks. I was hoping he'd text me eventually, but so far he hasn't. What do you think I should do in this situation? I know its better to keep your distance when your into a guy and make them chase you, I've always gone by the saying "if they want you they will come get you" but I;m regretting leaving paul. so I downloaded the latest version from itunes, but I have all my music in my external hard drive (500+gigs) and it's in a folder. so then in the itunes page I scroll down to add folder, and it starts working, but it goes right to my c drive in my computer, and obviously it fills it up, so right now I had to delete itunes and start all over, what am I doing wrong?.. thanks !!!!
I have been studying personality disorders and I have been wondering for quite some time if there is a personality disorder that has not been discovered yet. Children often pretend that they are a character from a movie they have just seen or a book they have just read, but they will stop pretending they are said character when “play time” is over. I have been keeping a close eye on someone who goes through a more extreme version of this. He is a teenager but whenever he watches a movie, he will pick a character out of that movie that he likes the most, and then, without any control over the matter, he will start to act as if he were the character- traits, quirks, and all. He calls them “fazes” and he is aware of it but can do nothing to stop it from occurring. Normally these fazes last at least a month, but could last longer than that, and have been dangerous in the past; if a character he enjoys is a nutter, he will, for a month, become a nutter. So my question to you is: Does he have a form of multi-personality disorder? Or have a really discovered something unheard of?
I installed a private server to my PC to test out whether it was worth paying for the Blizzard version, now I can't uninstall the private server! What can I do to uninstall it? No malware and there is NO WAY I'm reformatting my hard drive. Too many valuble videos and pictures on it ;-) The main reason was to be a Death Knight- something you simply can't do in 10 days. I recently download Nokia Software Updater 2.4.5 en After installing and running, it says a new version is available. Do you want to download the update?. I follow the procedure by clicking the download button. The size of the new update is 34.6mb. However as it reaches its peak size,I thought things will be finished but instead it's just keeps on downloading as the size keeps on increasing. I waited for an hour already and decided to click the stop the button. The size stops at 387MB of 387MB. Help on this one please.
So, about a week and a half ago I found out that my girlfriend had been lying to me about taking birth control. When I found out I went ballistic on her and walked out. I sat in my car for about half an hour (her thinking I had driven off) and then had come back. We talked and she told me that even though she had lied about everything and in the end it was essentially her fault, she would do everything in her power to make me pay the maximum child support and then she would move away so I couldn't see my kid, also she told me that she couldn't tell me the truth because she was embarrassed that she couldn't afford the bill for birth control (even though I told her prior that I'd pay for it regardless of the price). So, I've come down to the conclusion that she is either just plain stupid for not telling me, or she was trying to trick me into getting her pregnant (seeing as how Im in the military and she could take advantage of all my benefits). She loves me so she says, but I'm starting to question what her version of love it. Should I break up with her now that I found out today she's for sure not pregnant? Or should I not break up with her out of love? On a side note, 2 months after we started dating she's told me that she wants a kid regardless of me not wanting one. I've stayed with her since then because I love her, but this I think has just taken it to another level. it's been 5 weeks from the day I went inside her and we've taken about 8 pregnancy tests that all popped up negative including going to a doctor and him confirming that she's not pregnant.

My dad bought 4 keys for Norton 360 so that everyone in our house can have it on their computer but I can't seem to find a way to get it onto mine. I downloaded the Norton 360 free trial (because for most trials you can put a product key on it to get the real version) and put in the key that my dad bought and all seems fine. I am trying to use my backup disk that I made right before I restored my computer (made with a Norton 360 trial), so when trying to reinstall the files off the disk it tells me that I don't have Norton 360 installed when I do! Do I need to reinstall Norton 360 in a different way, because the warning I keep getting when trying to install my old files keeps showing me a link to the Norton 360 website to buy it. Can anyone help? I'm not asking for any other options as far as anti viruses go, because I know that there are good free ones; it's my dad who bought the accounts and he has the mindset of "you get what you pay for". I am only asking because he already bought it for all of us.

My son is 21 months and talking more and more each day. But he does not seem to have a word for me. It's just weird. He says "Daddy" and he has names for a few of our friends and relatives, but no word for me. He's quite attached to me - I am home with him full time, so it's not that. I keep searching through his babble to try and hear if he is calling me by some version of my first name, but I haven't heard anything. He does occasionally call me "you." I am not *worried* about this, I just think it's sort of unusual. Have you ever heard of a toddler who called his mother "you" and nothing else? When he wakes up he hollers "UP! UP! UP!", lol. I do sometimes do the "Mama's going to change your diaper now" thing, but maybe not that much. No one really calls me "Mom" except occasionally my husband when interacting with my son ie. "Mommy's making dinner, come play with me." Do you really think it's possible that if you don't refer to yourself in the third person a lot, your child will simply neglect to call you anything? I mean, I think the third person thing is a fairly recent strategy, no? I mean, regardless of how I talk about myself, he's definitely heard the word "mama" much more than he's heard the word, "apple" for example. And he happily calls things apple all the time (even things that are not, actually, apples.)

Ok, im 14 and i really like this guy, and i think he likes me back. I recently switched from XP to Vista Ultimate. In the process, I lost something. You are familiar with the Sound Effects Manager in the Control Panel. Well, I am something of an audiophile, and there is an option that was in this when I had XP, but for some reason, they dropped it out of Vista. It's the Realtek AC97 Audio Configuration Sound Effects Manager. In XP, in this thing there was an option called "custom' or "customized" I can't remember for sure. It is in the Environment Section, where you can choose all sorts of different listening environments for different music effects. Or you can select 'generic', or 'none'. But before when I had this there was also an option as I said 'custom'. It would allow you to do many things to your audio. When you clicked on 'custom' up would pop up a box with various settings for things like 'room', 'HF', 'Roll Off', "Decay', "Decay HF', 'Reverb'. "Reverb Delay', 'Diffusion' 'Density', among other things. I used to like to monkey with these settings to experiment with my music. Now I don't have any of this in the Vista version. Everything else is exactly the same, except for the omission of this 'custom' option, which I VERY MUCH would like to get back. So I guess my question is, knowing what I am talking about, can I download this particular Sound Effects Manager, that has the 'custom' setting with all the things I mentioned, and replace it with the one I have now, that doesn't have the setting. I don't think it was particular to XP, but am not sure. Why would this particular component change with Vista? So if I haven't confused you, and you know what I am talking about and what I need, I would appreciate your help in finding what I used to have, if it is possible. I really miss it, and want it back. If you have a download link, that would be greatly appreciated. I hope I have been clearI did the best I could. Thank you. About a month ago, I went to Walmart to get my usual Aveeno facial moisturizer. I usually get Aveeno Positively Radiant, but I accidently got the redness relief version by Aveeno. I just grabbed a bottle and didn't really realize that it wasn't in a box (I think they are all usually in a box). So when I went to the register, there was no barcode on the bottle and somebody had to go back and get a bottle of it that was in a box to scan. But they didn't give me the bottle that was in the box, I just took home the bottle that I had picked off of the shelf. So can I return this if I don't have the reciept for it? There is no barcode on the bottle, but the woman at the register didn't see a problem with me buying that one and didn't give me the one they scanned, which was in a box.

I am just wanting a list of games that my 4-6 year old kids could play on the 360. My 6 year old is great with games, but my 4 year old has problems with games that have to many commands. I am looking for an alice in wonderland book but i need more information on it to find it. It has a red/burgundy cover with gold detail and has illustrations by John Tenniel. It's a hard back version, and has pictures on the middle pages, which are shiny and in colour. At the back it also has a copy of Through the looking glass. I played MK 1 a few years ago on the Sega with no bloody mode enabled and I seem to recall Johnny Cage having a finishing move which he Shadow Kicked his opponent off the screen. My memory is hazy on this, so I was wondering, without the bloody mode enabled are there any fatalities in MK:1 for the Gen., do they mimic the SNES version, or are they completely different? Can find like, no info on this. Any information would be helpful.
Ok, I tried to write a longer version of this but somehow it didn't show up anywhere! Cutting the story short, my friend got hit for no reason by some pissed up lads, genuinely no reason he was sitting kissing his girlfriend in the student union bar, they didn't take to kind to it, he told them to f off, one of them punched him. I turned up, and wasn't aggressive at all, I was speaking to an American guy ( who was with the group - he was saying they re pissed up, and he was trying to get them to leave). But they weren't having any of it. The American guy had put himself as a shield between the vast majority of their group and my friend, but one of them was squaring up to him. Then I came into it, I saw one of the lads jump through the American, the guy that was squaring up to my friend grabbed his arms. So I grabbed a bottle, smashed it on the table but by the time I could turn away from the table 5 of my friends had jumped on me ( These friends weren't in the picture before! ). It was all broken up no one was hurt. I should state at this point now, that I acted purely out of my friends defence, and no other reason. About 8 months time, I got a message from the police. Rung them, they arrested me for GBH with intent (attempted), one of the guys (the one who had grabbed my friend) said I narrowly missed stabbing him. But to cut a long story short, this was proved to be a lie by CCTV. I was nowhere near him. Now the CPS wants an Affray charge, nothing to do with person who tried to press charges, but for the people who were sitting at the table I smashed the bottle on. ( They haven't pressed charges, I kinda know them). Firstly, isn't Affray two or more people fighting? Secondly, what's the sentence if found guilty? I know it was the wrong action to take by a long shot, but it was to protect my friend and nothing more than that. Its just that thinking from a legal view point that will be a bit hard to prove in court. This is my first offence, I am currently at university. I asked the DC what happens with these types of cases and he said he hadn't seen anything like this from a person with my background before as it is still under the Serious Crimes Unit due to the initial GBH with intent accusation. He said probably community service as I have complied with anything asked for. Whats your views? Thank you in advance I would appreciate if the comment were mature! PS: I wasn't drunk, I don't drink.

-I got a rooted G1, firmware 1.0 rc29 - The phone works, like I can talk and text and everything. But every time I click on WiFi settings, the screen just stays black and not appears. It like freezes, I dunno why its doing this, and I cant get wifi cause of that. -Maybe cause its rooted? I got the PC version of Half-Life a while ago and it came whit some mods like Team Fortress Classic, Ricochet and others, and later got the expansions Blue Shift and Opposing Force. The problem is, my PC is too slow to run them, so I decided I¨ll get the PS2 version of Half-Life. I dreamed my cousin went back to Wisconsin (where they used to live before their mom married my uncle) to look for a girl he met on the Internet. From there, he traced her to Forks (I swear, this had nothing to do with that Meyer rubbish. The ******* girl lives in Forks). Back to Wisconsin, then Kansas, then finally back to L.A. When he came back, something was wrong with him. We couldn't quite place it. Then my other cousin (Kim) started acting all weird, trying to seduce me and whatnot. As it turns out, my cousin was turned, and he in turn bit his sister. Then she started acting all weird like a Bride of Dracula, trying to seduce me in order to have my blood. When I try to load the Franchise mode with a certain team that I have created and saved my own created player it never works. The franchise still loads but the created player is nowhere to be found. I am playing on the PS2 version. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for any help.
Well last night I dreamed that me and my best friend angel were together in the school at bus dismissal. I think there were other people there, but at that point i didn't acknowledge them. Well, it was like my school, except it was a beautified version. Like a dark, beautified version. So me and her were walking around and then we were like "oh, we better get to the buses" and so we passed the doormen (we don't usually have doormen o_o ) and it was raining HEAVY outside. So we started running but then we came to teeny tiny stairs (lots of them) and we started scooting down thm in the rain because we didn''t want to slip down those tiny stairs. But then, angel slipped down the stairs, and ended up plopped on the ground way below me. I couldn't see her, but I heard a smack. I was hysterical. Then she got up and was like the grudge. She was on all fours and her head ws upside down and blood was coming from her mouth. Then I thankfully woke up O_O. Could it be related to the HORRIBLE headache I'm having today? I mean, I'm not prone to headaches. I've never had one this bad. I don't think I hit my head in my sleep though because there isn't a bruise or a bump.
